Jane hits over 100 goals for City 
Glasgow City’s Jane Ross leads the City goalscoring charts this season, with four goals on Sunday against Kilmarnock taking her tally to 14 this season and 101 in total for her City career.
Jane now joins an elite group of only four City players to have ever scored more than 100 goals for the club and as a delighted Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black points out, she will have a lot more to come.
He said, “It gives me great pleasure to see Jane develop as a player and a person. For her to reach over 100 goals in a 124 starts is very impressive especially when you consider her overall contribution. I believe we have seen a more mature and responsible player this season, she is highly valued by everyone at the club, and the quality and calmness of her finishing has shown a real maturity.Jane gives us a lot more than just goals, she supports the team in defence and in attack, creates opportunities for team mates and her work helps everyone. The good thing for me is that Jane is always looking to improve and her preparation for games is excellent, highlighting a great level of responsibility.Therefore, I can only see her continue to add to her goals tally as well as progress throughout her career.”
