Suzanne Malone moves to Hamilton Accies
Glasgow City striker Suzanne Malone has moved to Hamilton Accies in a joint agreement between both clubs.
Since having a blistering season with City in 2009, Malone has struggled with chronic back injury for the past two seasons and has managed only a handful of outings in a City strip.
In a bid to try and return to full training and playing now that she is back on the road to recovery, Scottish Champions Glasgow City have agreed with Malone and Accies that the striker will move to the Lanarkshire club to regain her fitness.
Commenting on the agreement, City Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black said, “Suzanne is an extremely important player for us and it has been as frustrating for us as it has been for the player herself, that she has been out for so long with injury. We hope that the move to Accies will benefit all parties involved and we look forward to having Suzanne back in a City strip in the near future.”
